A newly leaked U.S. diplomatic cable originally written over six years ago confirms that the agenda to merge the United States, Canada and Mexico into an integrated North American Union has been ongoing for years, debunking claims made consistently by the corporate media and establishment talking heads that the NAU is a baseless “conspiracy theory”.
“The cable, released through the WikiLeaks website and apparently written Jan. 28, 2005, discusses some of the obstacles surrounding the merger of the economies of Canada, the United States and Mexico in a fashion similar to the European Union,” reports the National Post.
“An incremental and pragmatic package of tasks for a new North American Initiative (NAI) will likely gain the most support among Canadian policymakers,” the document said. “The economic payoff of the prospective North American initiative … is available, but its size and timing are unpredictable, so it should not be oversold.”
While serving to confirm the agenda to integrate the United States, Mexico and Canada into an EU-style political and monetary union, the Wikileaks cable will come as no surprise to those who watched Alex Jones’ 2006 documentary Endgame, in which precisely the same information was outlined, with particular focus on the Security and Prosperity Partnership, or SPP meetings.
The mission to create a North American Union was also discussed in September 2006 during a closed-door meeting of high-level government and business leaders in Banff, Canada.
Despite the manifestly provable factual basis of the matter, during the 2008 presidential election the establishment media attempted to smear Ron Paul by attributing the notion of a move towards a North American Union to him and then claiming it was a non-existent “conspiracy theory,” when the veracity of the issue was readily documented from the very start.
A Newsweek hit piece subsequently claimed that Ron Paul’s concerns over a NAFTA superhighway, a North American Union or a regional currency were completely baseless, and yet the newly leaked cable states U.S. diplomats were busy discussing a “move forward with continental integration, including a possible common currency, labour markets, international trade and the borders of the three countries,” as well as “easier access across the U.S. border,” more than six years ago.

“And we shall name it ‘the United Civilized States’”
What’s wrong with this scenario…this is the future….humanity should unite.
Cheap non-unionised Mexican labour will be used to shut down all US and Canadian unions. Should any protests arise, those newly employed non-unionised Law Enforcement types will pave the streets of the US and Canada with the blood of those who demand any kin of rights beyond being a working in poverty workforce whose attractive children are the playthings of the rich and greedy.
Especially egregious for Canadians who will lose universal health, a working public education system, an effective social welfare net, strict environmental controls etc.
People who fall for these conspiracy theories show how little they understand Canada, for starters. Quebec still considers voting on separation yet the ignorant think they will just slide along with some political union. The Canadian dollar went from 60 cents to 105 cents within the last few years yet gullible people think this would be something the politicians could make happen.
Nothing could be more ridiculous than these silly little conspiracy theories. The damage to Canadian exports due to being attached to a problematic currency like the US dollar is far more than enough to make even the hardcore right wing fight against an economic union.
Basic psychology lesson: people tend to see their own mindset in the actions of others. Those who find this conspiracy theory believable not only reveal their ignorance of Canada, they reveal that they find it incredibly easy to think of countless people as behaving in a sociopathic manner. That reveals that they may be sociopaths, otherwise they wouldn’t be seeing sociopathic behavior as the logical response.
Read about Canada a little. You will find this scenario is utterly ridiculous.

While I can’t comment on the mindset of Canadians, I can comment on your fallacious appropriation of debunked pop-psychology to justify your claims.
That notion has been proven false so many times it is like attempting to use the “gateway drug” theory to justify anti-medical marijuana legislation, or marijuana prohibition in general, for that matter.
Your other point very well might be true but you just betrayed your considerable ignorance of actual psychology while exposing your affinity for the non-rigorous pseudo-psychology that the BBC and other mainstream networks love to feature.
Read about psychology a little. you will find your statements are utterly ridiculous.
Sorry, I just couldn’t help myself.
If ‘that notion’ is proven false, back yourself up. I find conspiracy theorists like yourself are quite fond of not backing up claims when challenged. Lets see you try.
Show me up. Prove me wrong. I’m begging you, just give a few citations. Something good. And if you fail, admit it. I’m guessing you will resort to lies and bull rather than admitting you are wrong. You will play games, you will try to make it someone else’s responsibility.
Back it up or admit you can’t.

JTK, I’d like to know why you are labeling me a “conspiracy theorist”. What conspiracies have I concocted a theory about?
At most, I have hypothesized, never have I been convinced enough to call it a theory. This includes 9/11. I know that I do not know nearly enough to even put together a theory. All I know about that day is that there are things which cannot be explained to my satisfaction by the 9/11 Commission.
As for this article, you might notice I didn’t write it.
Now, on to your appropriation of psychology (of which you clearly do not know much, sadly), there are several indicators that your generalization is far from accurate and is not based on any actual studies.
For instance, let’s take a look at this study from 1994: http://crab.rutgers.edu/~goertzel/CONSPIRE.doc
If your hypothesis was correct, you would be, what at least I consider to be, extremely racist. If what you said was true, then black and so-called Hispanic persons (misnomer though it may be) are, on average, more likely to be sociopaths and thus see sociopathic behavior in others. You’re more than welcome to harbor this racist contention but I, for one, know better.
I think the sole research you are relying on is a recent study published in a UK social psych journal which polled a mere 250 UK students on 17 “conspiracy theories.”
http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2011/05/110504080730.htm
If you are familiar with the scientific method, especially when it comes to psychology and social psychology in particular, 250 is an absurdly small sample to use as a basis of global-generalization. The sample included solely UK students. Anyone familiar with scientific studies will tell you this sample is far too small to extrapolate the claims onto other demographics. This only shows that 250 UK students who believe in conspiracy theories are more likely to be willing to conspire.
I’d like to see some research that was conducted on a large sample in various countries, across socioeconomic strata and the political spectrum.
Although, again, I would like for you to enlighten me as to what conspiracy theories I believe in, how they indicate I am more likely to be a sociopath (which is supported by NO research I might add) and what brought you to this conclusion.
You seem to unknowingly espouse a conspiracy theory yourself. This conspiracy theory entails all people who believe in conspiracies deluding themselves and lying to others about their own mindset and moral character, or lack thereof.
I’m being a bit facetious, but you get the point.
If you have some real, rigorous research to show me that back sup your claim that there is a statistically significant link between sociopathy and belief in conspiracy theories I would love to read it!
Unlike many people, I encourage dissent and I am always consuming information that challenges my preconceived notions. You should try it some time
Beautiful! Fucking beautiful, you shut that ignorant asshole up steadfast, congratulations!! This was the best example of some sheep person with an inflated attitude and sense of ego getting shut down by the sheer force of unrelenting knowledge and intelligence. Thank you Madison you have enriched the quality of my life and day!!! Thank you!!
I would really appreciate if a link could be provided to the leaked cable which is being used as the basis of this report. I don’t doubt it’s existence, but still feel that giving the link to view it ourselves might take away any validity in an argument that something could have been misquoted, misunderstood, taken out of context or simply fabricated.
For us to be able to educate people on the dangers that exist from the powers that be, we need to show our sources and force people to wake up to reality, as opposed to making baseless arguments.
