GA judge orders Obama to appear at hearing, but will he show up?

Today the Associated Press reported that a Georgia judge has ordered the President of the United States, Barack H. Obama, to appear in an Atlanta court for a hearing.

The hearing is being held for a complaint filed by a Georgia resident which alleges that Obama is not a natural-born citizen and thus cannot run for re-election or be president at all, for that matter.

Similar lawsuits have been filed around the country with no success to show thus far.

This latest complaint, which was made by a resident of Georgia which was left unnamed in an Associated Press wire report, is supposedly aimed at keeping Obama’s name off the ballot for the presidential primary coming up in March.

However, the Associated Press fails to point out that if this case is successful, there would be much larger consequences than just keeping Obama’s name off of a ballot.

An aide for the Obama campaign said that the attempts to get the president personally involved in cases like these are doomed to fail and this complaint and ones like it filed around the nation have no merit.

Yet, that did not stop Deputy Chief Judge Michael Malihi from denying a motion filed by the president’s lawyer which attempted to block a subpoena which requires Obama to appear in court.

The hearing is set for Thursday and will be heard by an administrative judge and with Deputy Chief Judge Malihi denying the lawyer for the president’s motion just yesterday; there might be time for another attempt to quash the subpoena.

I seriously doubt that Obama will actually show up in court to defend himself, given that he regularly regards these accusations as nothing more than humorous nonsense uttered by paranoid lunatics.

However, if it is really so easy to strike down all of these complaints in a legitimate manner, why wouldn’t Obama show up?

I wouldn’t call myself a “birther” but I see no reason why Obama should be exempt from the laws the rest of us have to follow, like showing up in court in circumstances like these.

There are many ways which he could get out of it, and I do not expect a judge to slap Obama with an arrest warrant for failure to appear if he claims he cannot appear for national security reasons or some other nonsense.

It will be interesting to see what he does and how this case unfolds as it has gone further than most of the complaints that have been filed and the decision of Deputy Chief Judge Malihi is unusual, to say the least.

We will keep tabs on this case as it unfolds and you know what is happening, although I wouldn’t hold your breath just yet (unless you enjoy anoxia and brain damage in which case please feel free).

According to Minor v. Happersett (1875), Obama may be a citizen, but Obama’s not a Natural-Born citizen (as uniquely required for the presidency) since his PARENTS were not both citizens at the time of his birth — regardless of whether he was born in the U.S., or not.

Per the so-called birth certificate Obama released, Obama’s father (a Kenyan) was not a U.S. citizen, at the time of Obama’s birth.

It’s my understanding that Obama’s father never became a U.S. citizen.

I don’t care how you slice it or dice it this man has been the most “Destructive” president, to our Constitution in History. If he is found guilty of being a non-natural born, I want every single thing he signed repealed. God Save the Republic, and forgive us for turning our backs on You. He is clearly not natural born.
He renounced all citizenship other than Indonesian and traveled on a non-USA passport to Afghanistan. Attended one U.S.A. school as a foreign student.
He violates all provisions of the covered up Thirteenth Amendment which was to prevent bankers, lawyers, people with foreign allegiance, and officials that accept honors ( perks ) from holding public office.
When we started allowing minor violations of the U.S. Constitution, we opened up ourselves to losing all protections it gave and we have now lost this country.

Wow! I’m amazed at the ignorance here! Folks, I’m sorry to burst your bubble but it wouldn’t matter who was president. Obama, Bin Laden, Gingrich, etc are nothing more than puppets! Your energies are focused on the wrong subject. Put more pressure on those that are truly in control. Complaining about Obama regarding the country is like complaining about a manager regarding McDonald’s. NOTHING GETS DONE UNTIL YOU CAN EFFECT THOSE in the top 1%.
