This clip is especially hilarious because of his previous comments on the existence of the Grove (never mind his attendance) to this same individual, Luke Rudkowski of We Are Change.

Personally, I see Newt Gingrich as comical to the point of absurdity with his falling asleep at AIPAC during speeches, claiming that he would make the moon the 51st state and calling the Palestinian people “invented.”

I’m not quite sure how anyone takes him seriously at this point, if anyone in fact does such a thing at all. I’m not sure if it was just clever editing on Rudkowski’s part or if there indeed was such an abysmal turnout for Gingrich’s book signing. If indeed his supposed supporters are that few and far between, he is much worse off than I thought.

His response to the realization that he had just autographed a picture of himself at a place he previously attempted to pretend did not exist is is priceless.

I’m just thankful for the internet and the ubiquity of cameras nowadays which allow people to hold individuals like Gingrich to account. Without these tools I seriously doubt that we would be able to realize just how brazenly politicians like Gingrich lie.
