4 injured in weapons explosions at military testing ground in Central Russia
On Tuesday, four people were injured and thousands of residents fled as two villages were evacuated following two explosions at a military testing ground 40 kilometers from the city of Orenburg in Central Russia.
A fire at the facility’s loading dock caused missiles stored there to explode. Rescuers evacuated the nearby Donguz settlement. The missiles were scheduled for disposal.
A train loaded with missiles set for disposal caught fire at a testing ground outside Orenburg. Several of the missiles exploded, resulting in a series of powerful blasts.
